Considering who could resist a story almost an imaginative orphan named Anne Shirley who goes on a journeying of cocky-discovery and self-acceptance after settling into life with a loving family unit? So, it'south absolutely no surprise that we're excited that the classic Canadian children's novel is now being adapted for Canada's CBC-TV.

Even libation: The network appear that a female-led team of accolade-winning producers and writers including Breaking Bad'southward Moira Walley-Beckett, will come together to create eight episodes titled, Anne.

"Anne'southward problems are contemporary problems: feminism, prejudice, bullying, and a want to belong. The stakes are loftier and her emotional journey is tumultuous. I'm thrilled to delve deeply into this resonant story, push the boundaries, and requite it new life," Wally-Beckett told CBC.
